Wizz Air is moving its Budapest and Bucharest flights from Edinburgh to Glasgow next month.

The Budapest service will operate from Glasgow on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 14 November, while the Bucharest service will operate on Mondays and Fridays from 17 November.

They will replace the services from Edinburgh the same week.

Matt Hazelwood, Chief Commercial Officer at AGS Airports, which owns Glasgow Airport, described the move as ‘fantastic news’, while Edinburgh Airport said it was ‘disappointing’.
