Wizz Air has added a winter service to Montenegro’s capital, Podgorica, from London Luton, providing a new option for people wanting to travel to Croatia.

From 2 November 2022, Wizz Air will launch flights twice a week to the city, with fares starting at £25 one-way.

Flights will operate on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Podgorica is about three hours from Croatia’s most southerly resorts, including Cavtat, and about four hours from Dubrovnik, so the new flight could possibly provide a cheaper option for holidaymakers than Dubrovnik Airport.

Wizz Air UK Managing Director Marion Geoffroy said: “Podgorica serves as the perfect destination for customers looking to discover a new city that is not only filled with fantastic museums but is surrounded by picturesque national parks.”
