Two independent agencies now have £1,000 each to spend on marketing after winning The JG Travel Group’s Grab a Grand competition.
Mel’s Travel in Ferryhill, County Durham (pictured above) and Total Travel in Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire (pictured below), had to supply a five-point plan of marketing ideas on how they would spend the grand to grow their sales through either National Holidays or Just Go! Holidays.
Entries were judged by The JG Travel Group management panel consisting of CEO Andy Freeth, Sales Director Matthew Herbert and Trade Sales Manager Claire Dutton.
Ms Dutton said: “I was blown away with the entries and both the agencies we selected were worthy winners. It was quite emotional when I went in store to tell the agencies they had won, and you could really see just how grateful they were. We can’t wait to see some of the ideas turn into reality.”
