Almost a quarter of cruise.co.uk customers selected Royal Caribbean’s sky-dive simulator as the most popular onboard thrill experience.
The cruise line’s sky-dive simulator scooped up 23% of votes in a recent survey, with ziplining, available on MSC Cruises, and go-karting, provided on the latest NCL ships, coming second and third.
However, almost seven out of 10 of the nearly 900 respondents said they’re not interested in a thrill experience and would rather sit back and relax onboard at the swimming pool, in the spa or on deck.
Cruise.co.uk MD Tony Andrews said: “The range of activities available when sailing on a cruise is phenomenal. Whether you’re an adrenaline junkie wanting to experience a sky-dive at sea, or you’d rather spend your time peacefully in an adults-only spa retreat, these incredible floating hotels truly have something for everyone.
“When you combine the fantastic experiences available both on and off a ship, alongside the outstanding value-for-money a cruise offers, it’s no wonder ever-increasing numbers of people are opting for a holiday at sea.”
