Wales will introduce a new rule that people must be fully vaccinated or have a negative COVID test to enter big events and nightclubs from 11 October.
It follows Scotland’s decision to ban the non-vaccinated from clubs and large events , although England last week ruled out the introduction of mandatory COVID Passes.
In Wales, people will have to show their NHS COVID Pass to prove they’ve had two doses of the vaccine or a negative lateral flow test in the past 48 hours to enter clubs, indoor non-seated events with more than 500 people and outdoor non-seated events with more than 4,000.
People in Wales will also be required to prove their COVID status for entry to any seated or non-seated event with more than 10,000 people.
In Scotland, people will have to prove they’ve been fully vaccinated to enter clubs and large events from 1 October.
