European river cruise operator VIVA has announced its third build ship, Viva Enjoy, will sail mostly on the Danube in the three months following its launch in September 2024.

The ship’s maiden voyage will be a 12-night cruise from Frankfurt to Vienna, leaving on 22 September.

“We have grown very quickly in the last five years, as has our customer base and the demand for cruises on the Danube,” said Chief Operating Officer Andrea Kruse.

“Our third new build ship will give us a wider range of options – with departures from Vienna to accommodate for our international audiences.”

Viva Enjoy will be the sister ship to Viva Two, launched earlier this year, and will be identical in design.

It will accommodate 190 passengers in 95 cabins and have three restaurants, a lounge, a sun deck, and a fitness and wellness area.

A choice of four, five and seven-night itineraries on the Danube, including Advent and Christmas cruises, are available to book now.
