Virgin Voyages has confirmed the dates of the three legs on Resilient Lady’s repositioning cruise, after its initial itinerary was changed to avoid the Middle East.
The first leg will leave Sydney on 27 March, arriving Cape Town on 17 April. It will call at Eden and Perth in Australia, Port Louis in Mauritius and Durban.
Leg two will leave Cape Town on 17 April, arriving Barcelona on 4 May, calling at Namibia, Cape Verde, Tenerife, Casablanca and Morocco.
The final leg will be a five-day cruise from Barcelona on 4 May to Athens, calling at Malta and Santorini before arriving at Athens on 9 May.
Virgin Voyages has said passengers on the original three legs of the repositioning voyages will have guaranteed spots on the new sailings at no additional cost and a price protection commitment in place. If the dates aren’t convenient, passengers can receive a future voyage credit, based on their paid balance, or a full refund.
The cruise line also said agents’ commissions will be protected.
