Virgin Atlantic will start flying to both the Maldives and Turks & Caicos from London Heathrow next winter.

It will start a winter-only service to Male in the Maldives on 22 October and year-round flights to Providenciales in Turks & Caicos on 15 November.

Male flights will operate three times a week while the Providenciales service will operate twice weekly as an extension of Virgin’s flights to and from Jamaica’s Montego Bay.

Male flights will go on sale on 30 November, followed by Providenciales flights on 11 January.

Fares have yet to be announced.

Virgin Atlantic Holidays packages to the Maldives will go on sale tomorrow (18 November), followed by packages to the Turks & Caicos later this year.

Both flights will be operated by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner with Upper, Premium and Economy cabins.

Virgin said the Turks & Caicos flights were the newest addition to its Caribbean portfolio, having added flights to the Bahamas in last December, St Vincent and Grenadines in October 2021 and Saint Lucia.
