Virgin Atlantic has confirmed that Lee Haslett, Vice President of Global Sales, will be leaving the airline after more than 14 years.

The airline said Lee is leaving to take up a new career opportunity outside of the aviation sector.

Lee joined the Virgin Holidays team in 2008, leading the holidays retail expansion, before holding various roles across the business, including Head of Retail, VP Product & Distribution, and most recently, VP Global Sales.

Juha Jarvinen, Chief Commercial Officer, Virgin Atlantic said: “I would like to thank Lee for his tremendous contribution over the last 14 years. He has been instrumental in rebuilding our revenues as we recover from the pandemic, leading the sales transformation plan and he has played an important role in my Commercial Leadership Team.

“We will be recruiting for the VP Global Sales role both internally and externally.

“Lee will be with us until the end of February 2023, and we wish him well in his future endeavours, as he moves into an exciting new opportunity in the spring.”
