Vietnam’s Quang Nam province has opened a UK office for the first time.

Operated by SLC Representation, it will look after trade, marketing and PR for the region.

Quang Nam includes popular tourist sites such as Hoi An, the iconic My Son temples and the lesser travelled Cam Thanh side of the region.

SLC MD Chris Farwell said: “Our goal is to help agents and operators develop their knowledge of the region through trips, training and marketing opportunities in the year ahead.”

The region is also focused on becoming a destination for eco-friendly and responsible tourism, and recently launched www.VisitQuangNam.com  highlighting local green initiatives.
