Vertical Travel Group has appointed Chris Richmond as General Manager of its trade sales division.
The division covers the brands Bedbank.com, Amathus Holidays and VillasforTravel.com, which will shortly be relauched, featuring hundreds of online bookable villas across the Med and Florida.
Chris joined Amathus Holidays in October 2021 as Reservations Manager overseeing the running of Vertical Travel Group’s Greece and Cyprus specialist operator as well as managing the team for accommodation-only provider Bedbank.com.
Prior to this he worked in corporate travel for CWT for six years in both Senior Business Travel Consultant and VIP team roles and for a short term with Biblio Travel as Call Centre Manager.
As General Manager, Chris will build on relationships with Vertical’s homeworking agents as well as hoteliers, growing business through varying channels and strengthening the trade sales divisions.

“He is empowered to expand his team to provide even greater levels of service especially with the exciting relaunch of our VillasforTravel product coming shortly, which is a huge opportunity for our own sales agents and third-party clients.”
