The Vertical Group has named Ben Rodger as Managing Director of travel technology division Vertical Systems.

Ben moves across from his role as Group Marketing Director to replace Chris North who has left after 25 years with the group.

Ben first worked at Vertical Group between 2009 and 2012, before leaving to work in the vacation rental market, followed by roles with Broadway Travel and Magicbreaks.

He re-joined Vertical in 2020.

In addition, Darren Manning moves from Business Development Manager to Director of Sales and David Becker moves from Senior Software Developer to Chief Technical Officer.

Ben said “I am thrilled to be in the role, having worked for [Group CEO] Peter [Healey] for many years. I already knew a lot of the Vertical Systems team and it is full of immensely talented, highly experienced, good people.’
