The US has confirmed it will reopen its borders to fully vaccinated foreigners from 8 November.
White House Assistant Press Secretary Kevin Munoz made the announcement on Twitter this afternoon.
His tweet came following hours of speculation in the media that an announcement was imminent.
The move follows a 19-month shut down, during which all non-essential travel to the US was banned.
