The UK will accept vaccination certificates issued in the United Arab Emirates from 4 October, Transport Secretary Grant Shapps has announced.
The minister heralded the move as more ‘great news for the reopening of international travel’.
In a tweet, Mr Shapps said the move follows updates to the UAE’s vaccination app.
“As a major transport hub which is home to many British expats, this is great news for reopening international travel, boosting business and reuniting families,” he said.
