Italy specialist Typically Holidays has joined forces with Hays Travel in a new promotion featuring Love Island star Anton Danyluk.

Anton and his mum Sheri Ann flew out on Monday on a Typically holiday to Italy, from where Anton will be posting about his experiences to his huge number of fans on social media, made up of 1.1 million Instagram followers; 288,000 on TikTok; 66,000 on X and 7,500 on YouTube.

The pair will spend three nights in Florence, exploring attractions such as the Leaning Tower of Pisa, visiting a vineyard and sampling local Italian food.

Customers inspired by Anton’s posts who want to book a similar trip for themselves with trade-only operator Typically will be able to do so via Hays Travel.

Anton was an islander on season five of Love Island, entering the villa on day one and lasting for 56 days.

He returned for Love Island: All Stars, where he came fifth, alongside Georgia Harrison. However, last week it was reported the pair had decided to part ways.

Typically Holidays Managing Director Daniele Broccoli said: “This is the first time we’ve done something like this with a TV star and influencer. We’re thrilled to give Anton and his mum a flavour of Italy and it’s a great way raise awareness of Typically among Hays Travel staff when they’re looking at booking an Italy holiday.”

Hays Travel Chief Operating Officer Jonathon Woodall-Johnston said: “When Typically Holidays asked us to be their travel agent partner on this trip for Anton and his mum we were very happy to help – I’m sure both will have a wonderful time in Italy and I’m looking forward to seeing their posts.

“We’re also excited to see what responses we receive on our Hays Travel social media channels, from applicants to our competition to win a fabulous holiday to Florence.”

Hays is also launching its own competition to win a £1,000 holiday to Florence. To be in with a chance to win, customers are asked to comment on Hays’ Instagram or Facebook channels stating who they would take with them to Italy and why. The winner will be chosen at random at the end of April.
