Heathrow and Gatwick have made it into the top five on a list of the world’s most expensive major airports for parking.
Heathrow and Gatwick are second and fifth most expensive for a week’s car parking, according to car leasing company Moneybarn, which looked at the largest airports in each country by number of commercial passengers to create the 39-strong list.
It reveals one week’s parking at Heathrow costs £255.30, while a week’s parking at Gatwick costs £180.
Top of the list is Hamad International Airport, where a week’s parking costs £433.61.
The rest of the top five is made up of San Francisco International in second, and Logan International in fourth.
The top 10 is rounded off with Singapore Changi, Miami International, Seattle-Tacoma International, Amsterdam Schiphol and Frankfurt.
