Tunisia has removed all remaining COVID restrictions for visitors.

Tunisian National Tourist Office UK Trade Manager Sami Tounsi shared the news with the trade on Friday, after the country’s Ministry of Public Health revealed the policy change on 1 December.

Previously, unvaccinated adults needed to show a negative COVID test, which could have been a PCR taken within 48 hours of travel, or a lateral flow test within 24 hours of travelling to Tunisia.

Vaccine certificates, or proof of negative tests are no longer required.

Anyone who shows COVID symptoms must wear a mask, the new rules say.

The UK Foreign Office (FCDO) has updated its advice in line with the rule relaxation.

The FCDO is reminding Brits to share contact details and travel information with authorities and that visas aren’t needed for visits lasting less than 90 days.
