TUI will resume services to Egypt and Turkey from the middle of the month.

The operator has updated its information to customers to say Antalya (pictured), Dalaman, Bodrum and Izmir in Turkey will begin on 16 October.

The country was taken off the UK’s red list in the latest traffic light update, in September.

The operator is also restarting Egypt this month, with Sharm El Sheikh starting on 17 October and Hurghada on 18 October.

Egypt was also removed from the red list and the Foreign Office removed its advice against non-essential travel to the destination last week.

On Friday, it was announced Turkey would allow fully vaccinated British holidaymakers and children under 12 years old test-free entry with immediate effect.

However, holidaymakers who aren’t vaccinated and those who’ve received just one shot -including children from the age of 12 – will still need to take a test before arrival.
