TUI has further postponed the launch of its inaugural river cruise programme until 15 August.
The cruises, which were due to begin in spring last year, had previously been delayed until 2 August this year.
In a statement on its website posted earlier today, the operator said: “TUI River Cruises has unfortunately extended the delay on first sailing dates to 15 August for TUI Maya and 16 August for TUI Skyla.
“All customers impacted by these cancellations will be contacted directly to discuss their options which include changing to another sailing in 2021 or 2022, or a full refund.”
TUI has also cancelled more sailings on Marella Cruises this autumn.
Cruises on Marella Discovery have been cancelled up to and including 25 October and on Marella Discovery 2 up to and including 31 October.
Marella Explorer 2’s planned sailing from Naples to Montego Bay on 4 November has also been cancelled.
All customers impacted by these cancellations are being contacted directly and can request a full cash refund, or change to a later date or an alternative holiday with a booking incentive.
Marella Discovery 2 Asia sailings, and Ancient Affair and Mediterranean Islands sailings from Cyprus remain cancelled from 1 November 2021 to 30April 2022 inclusive.
