TUI has opened new branches in Bishop Auckland in County Durham and in Lowestoft in Suffolk, both of which are open seven days a week.
In addition to customer consultation desks, the Bishop Auckland store has a double bureau exchange counterand advice bar.
The Lowestoft branch is located within a Next store, as part of TUI’s partnership with the high street retailer.
It will have seven full-time staff and a foreign exchange service.
Regional Store Manager Joanne Eccleston said: “People are genuinely delighted that TUI is back in Lowestoft as part of this new chapter with Next, and we can’t wait to welcome even more customers in the coming weeks.
Since opening its doors for the first time this week, Marella Cruises has been the biggest seller for the Bishop Auckland store, followed by European destinations such as Spain and Greece.
TUI, which currently has 327 branches, revealed earlier this week that it is looking to ‘go back into retail’ with ‘a small number’ of additional shops in the UK.
