TUI is urging customers not to share important information on Twitter after spotting multiple accounts impersonating its brand.

In a post on the social media platform, it said @tuiuk is the operator’s only official UK Twitter account.

Its tweet added: “Do not send any personal information to any other users as it may be a scam.”

TUI declined to name the fake TUI accounts, which it said it had reported to Twitter.

However, in response to one user, TUI confirmed that @TUIcustomerhelp, which claims to be TUI customer support, was not an official TUI account.
