A TUI Airways flight to Manchester was forced to make an emergency landing in the Canary Islands due to a cracked window in the cockpit, it has been reported.
Flight TOM217 was on its way from Cape Verde when it had to be urgently diverted to Gran Canaria airport, said Canarian Weekly.
Airport Emergency Service were on alert when the Boeing 767 landed on Monday evening.
TUI reported that no-one was injured in the incident, said Canarian Weekly, but passengers were delayed while another aircraft was made available.
