Three TUI Blue properties have opened this week in Asia, as part of the operator’s continued expansion in the region, which will see two more added by the end of the year.

TUI Blue The Haven Ipoh in Perak state, Malaysia, opened on Monday (9 September); TUI Blue Taicang, along the Yangtze River in Jiangsu province, China, opened on Tuesday (10 September) and TUI Blue Yangshuo Xiangheli, in China’s Guangxi province, opened this morning (12 September).

They follow new property TUI Blue Wusongkou Cruise Port, near Shanghai, which opened last month.

The other properties in TUI Blue’s Asia portfolio are the TUI Blue The Passage, Thailand, which opened in summer 2023 and two in Vietnam: TUI Blue Nha Trang and TUI Blue Tuy Hoa, which opened in January and April this year.

Two more hotels, TUI Blue Maduzi Bangkok and TUI Blue Berawa, are scheduled to open by the end of the year, although no launch date has been confirmed.

A spokesperson for TUI Group told Travel Gossip: “The hotels will primarily attract guests from Asia, but we are also planning to make them available to European visitors via dynamic packaging.”
