Travel Gossip has revealed the venue for next year’s Travel Celebration will be The Peninsula London.

London’s newest upmarket hotel, located at the corner of Hyde Park, by Wellington Arch, is close to Buckingham Palace, Kensington Gardens and other major attractions.

Managing Director Bruce Martin said: “We’re thrilled to announce The Travel Celebration 2025 will be held at London’s newest and most exciting venue, The Peninsula London.

“Next year will be the third Travel Celebration, featuring the Travel Gossip Awards, which recognise outstanding achievements, determined through an extensive and robust agent voting process. The Travel Celebration has already established itself firmly in the travel industry calendar, with a strong emphasis on networking, more time to mingle, immersive encounters and lots of fun.”

The Peninsula London opened in September 2023, and had its grand opening celebrations last week, with the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh unveiling a commemorative plaque.

The Peninsula Hotels brand is part of The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels (HSH), which had been looking at opening a property in London for 35 years.

HSH Chairman Sir Michael Kadoorie said: “It has taken 35 years to find the perfect location and bring this project to fruition. There has been a tremendous effort from all involved and it has clearly been worth the wait!

“Our dream of owning and operating a Peninsula Hotel in London has become a reality. It is our hope that The Peninsula London will become an icon in the city and be recognised by our guests as one of the finest hotels in the world.”

Its rooftop restaurant, Brooklands by Claude Bosi, achieved two Michelin stars within just four months of opening.

Nominations for the Travel Gossip Awards will open in mid-October, with a revamped category list. See here for more details about The Travel Celebration 2025 and see here for sponsorship opportunities.
