Travel Gossip has been named as the Best Media Start Up in the ALF Awards, beating TV channel GB News to the title.
The company, which was transformed into a media brand two years ago today with the launch of its daily news service, was presented with the trophy at a gala dinner in London last night.
Travel Gossip Managing Director Bruce Martin said he was ‘thrilled’ to receive the sales and marketing award.
“Two years ago, in the midst of a global pandemic, we launched Travel Gossip as a disruptive force in the travel trade media landscape. As a non-traditional start-up, we sought to cut through the noise and provide a fresh approach to travel trade news, marketing, and events,” he added.
“Winning this award validates our efforts and serves as a testament to the success of our mission to offer industry professionals something new and exciting.”
The ALF sales and marketing awards say they ‘showcase the best teams in the business, the most compelling initiatives, the biggest turnarounds, the best brands and the rising stars and sales leaders’.
The third finalist in the Best Media Start Up category, alongside Travel Gossip and GB News, was the website Sook.
