Travel Counsellors has reported a record number of 2,000 business owners.

This year, the company recruited over 300 new Travel Counsellors, marking a 30% year-on-year increase, including over 20 recruits in November alone.

The corporate travel sector also reported a record rise, with Travel Counsellors for Business having recently recorded £200m in turnover, and welcomed over 25 new corporate travel counsellors. 

Although many new business owners include ex-travel experts returning to the industry, the latest cohort, which joined in October 2023, comprises of business owners from across a wide variety of sectors including corporate account managers, entrepreneurs, ex-military, actors, photographers and marketing professionals, reflecting the diverse range of professional backgrounds that make up the Travel Counsellors community.
