Dozens of travel agencies in England, Wales and Scotland have been turned into sampling stations by a private COVID testing company.

The Travel Network Group has a deal with Eurofins for its members’ premises to be used as sampling stations.

So far, 200 TTNG members have signed up for the scheme and several dozen are already established as test centres.

A TTNG spokesperson said customers’ samples are taken at the agencies and sent off to a laboratory for analysis.

The agencies are paid directly by Eurofins and their staff can also be hired to carry out the tests.
