Visitors to World Travel Market London are once again facing disruption getting to the venue because of planned strikes on the transport network.

Members of the RMT and ASLEF unions are striking on various dates from 1 November to 12 November, with disruption ‘ramping up’ on day one of WTM – Tuesday 5 November.

The Telegraph said one of the most disruptive periods will be between 6-8 November, when RMT signallers and service controllers will walk out. The last day of WTM, Thursday 7 November, is described as ‘the worst day’ for strike, when Aslef train drivers and management grades walk out.

Transport for London has said it is too soon to know exactly which lines will be impacted by the strikes, however, a spokesman told The Telegraph it was very unlikely there will be many services running at all on the days when drivers are on strike, which includes 5 and 7 November, as well as 12 November.

WTM London takes place from 5-7 November at ExCel.
