The travel trade has been given an advance on selling Rocky Mountaineer’s New Year promotions, with two weeks to capitalise on discounts of up to £255 per couple before they are publicised directly to consumers.

The luxury tourist train company offers four iconic routes in Western Canada and the US Southwest, with discounts available via the trade only from today (Monday 16 January) for new bookings on selected departures throughout 2023.

Consumer-facing marketing will not begin until 30 January, with the promotions running via all channels until 23February.

Director of Sales EMEA Steven Harris said: “2023 has started positively and our tour operator and travel agent partners have been an integral part of that.

“We are delighted to give them the first opportunity to take advantage of our January-February sales promotion as we target more success for the coming season.”
