Touring and adventure aggregator TourHound has launched a  ‘Widget To Win It’ competition to boost travel agent take-up of its free touring and adventure widget.

A weekly draw for a £100 Love 2 Shop voucher will take place for six weeks, culminating in a grand draw in the last week, with prizes from various participating tour operators.

To participate, agents need to sign-up for the free TourHound Pro widget or white label and they will automatically be entered into the weekly draw and the grand draw.

Chairman Laurence Hicks said: “We are looking to boost the number of active widgets amongst agents who are keen to drive more enquiries and business from the lucrative touring and adventure sector, and we felt this competition would help raise the profile of our proposition”

The TourHound-PRO widget is an application that is embedded onto an agent’s consumer- facing website, providing real time content from over 50 touring and adventure operators.  

Agent groups Travel Marketing Systems, Holiday Franchise Company, Independent Travel Experts have already agreed to make the widget available to their members and the widget is also used by some of the larger retailers like Coop Travel, Barrhead, Dawson & Sanderson, Fed Olsen and numerous independent agents.
