Carnival, Holland America Line and Seabourn are to allow guests to go mask-free onboard US cruises from next month.
They follow Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Line, both of which announced an easing of mask rules earlier this month.
While Carnival, Holland America and Seabourn will continue to recommend guests wear masks on cruises, they will no longer be mandatory in all areas of their ships from 1 March.
However, guests will have to wear masks when getting on and off the ships, during ship-approved excursions and on transport vehicles, including water shuttles.
Also, passengers might be required to wear a mask in some venues or when attending some events ,so they are being advised to look out for onboard signage.
