Blue Bay Travel is looking to recruit a new Business Development Manager to replace Tasha Smith, who is leaving in June.
Tasha will become Business Development Executive at Cara Hotel Marketing, the UK and Ireland representation agency for AMR Collection.
Tasha first joined Blue Bay Travel as a Sales Advisor in 2014 before leaving to join Polka Dot Travel and then Palladium Hotel Group as Business Development Manager.
She rejoined Blue Bay in March 2021 as Trade Support Team Leader and was quickly promoted to Business Development Manager, a role which saw her continue to manage the in-house trade support team and also grow Blue Bay’s sales through travel agents at the same time.
Blue Bay Travel Chief Executive Alistair Rowland said: “We’ll be very sad to see Tasha go, but we know she’s a pure BDM at heart and this move will allow her to focus all her energy on that.
“I would like to thank Tasha for her considerable effort and achievement in developing relationships with The Midcounties Co-operative agents that we have an exclusive partnership with, as well as the more than 100 new trade agents who sell our Blue Bay Hotels product.”
Head of Operations Clare Wilson will be the trade contact until Blue Bay Travel recruits a replacement.
