Travel Gossip has opened supplier registration for its 2023 roadshows, which will visit 30 locations across the UK.
Many towns and cities, such as Cambridge, Cornwall, Hull, Wolverhampton, Bolton, Oxford and Edinburgh, have been included for the very first time.
The roadshows will be managed by Travel Gossip’s newest team member, Amanda Mogey, who starts as Events Manager this week.
Amanda, who has extensive experience in managing conferences and summits in various sectors such as finance, healthcare and retail, will also be developing and delivering Travel Gossip’s bespoke events services from now on.
Travel Gossip Managing Director Bruce Martin said: “Last week, we wrapped up an incredibly successful 2022 roadshow programme, where we took suppliers all around the country to meet up with 700 agents at 20 different venues.
“We’re expanding our roadshow events further for next year, with 30 planned, which means more agents will be able to attend – all facilitated by our new Events Manager, Amanda, who shares my passion for delivering great quality in-person events with meaningful content – with the fun factor that people have come to expect from Travel Gossip.”
Amanda said: “I’m very excited to be joining Travel Gossip and to be combing my favourite things – events and all things travel!
“I’m looking forward to working with Bruce and the team on plans for bringing even more events to the travel trade.”
Four of the roadshows have been designed as dedicated evenings showcasing Canadian destinations, ground services and airlines, under the banner Canada Takeover.
These will take place in Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol and Bournemouth, with 12 Canada specialist suppliers.
Registration for agents will open later this year. Click here to get an alert once registration opens.
