Start-up cruise operator Storylines is offering agents a maximum of 2% referral fee for sales of apartments on its yet-to-be built ship Narrative, which is due to launch in 2025.
The luxury ship will have just 547 cabins and carry up to 1,000 ‘residents’.
But with price tags starting at £850,000 and rising to £6.5m per cabin, agents could earn up to £130,000 for each sale.
Commissions start at 1% for one cabin sold, rising to 1.5% for three to five cabins, and hit 2% for six or more.
A limited number of cabins are available for fractional ownership, with customers able to buy a quarter share.
Narrative is being built by Croatia’s Brodosplit shipyard, which has the same owners as Tradewind Voyages, operator of the tall-ship Golden Horizon.
The ship is being designed for year-round living. It plans to circumnavigates the world every three years, with the average port call lasting three days.
Brodosplit, which is a subsidiary of Croatia-based DIV Group, confirmed it was building Narrative last week.
The shipyard escaped a bankruptcy hearing late last week after DIV Group Chief Executive Tomislav Debeljak gave personal guarantees and a promissory note to secure money to unblock its bank account.
He later told local media the shipyard will take on more employees over the next four years to fulfil projects, including the building of Narrative.
