South Africa has removed the requirement to present proof of vaccination or a negative test to enter the country.

In a travel update today, the Foreign Office said South African authorities have also relaxed rules designed to limit the spread of COVID.

Masks are no longer required in public spaces and gatherings of any size are allowed.

The FCDO added: “Flights between the UK and South Africa have largely returned to normal following the coronavirus pandemic.”
