An online travel agent that described itself as the ‘UK’s premier ski and snowboard agent’ has ceased trading as an ATOL holder.

Cheshire-based Get Me To The Alps sold tailormade packages, mainly to French resorts.

It was established in 2011, according to its filing with Companies House, which names the directors as Saffron Harrison and Andrew Worthington.

The Civil Aviation Authority said all bookings have been re-contracted with TTA Travel, which is the fulfilment travel company for the Travel Trust Association, of which Get Me To The Alps was a member.

Financial protection for customers remains in place with TTA Travel’s ATOL and they are being advised to contact TTA Travel directly.

Travel Gossip has approached Get Me To The Alps, which had more than 21k followers on its Facebook page, for a comment.
