Fully-vaccinated Brits can avoid a 10-day quarantine in Singapore from next week under its new Vaccinated Travel Lane scheme, but they must obtain a Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP), two negative PCR tests, and travel only on specific flights.
Applications for a VTP can only be made seven to 30 days before their date of arrival.
Travellers can apply on the SafeTravel website from 12 October for travel to Singapore from 19 October.
They must also take two PCR tests: one within 48 hours of their flight to Singapore and the other on arrival at Changi Airport, after which they must isolate until they receive a negative result.
Unvaccinated children up to the age of 12 will be allowed to travel under the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) scheme from 19 October when travelling with vaccinated adults. Children over two years old will be required to take two PCR tests.
Singapore Airlines will operate a daily VTL daily flight from 19-30 October. It will depart from London Heathrow at 11.25am and arrive at Changi Airport at 7.30am.
From 31 October 2021, the departure time will change to 10:55am from Heathrow, arriving at Changi Airport at 7:50am.
