Shearings has fine-tuned its website, including the travel agents’ bookable site, introducing an ‘elastic search’ functionality that brings back holiday results faster.

Searches for coach, self-drive or cruise holidays can easily be sorted by criteria such as departure date, duration and budget at speeds of up to 70 milliseconds, the operator says.

The search facility is also device friendly.
