Coach operator Shearings has reintroduced its £1 per person deposit promotion.

The promotion applies to any holiday in Shearings’ portfolio, with customers then having nothing else to pay until 28 days before departure for self-drive hotel breaks, and 42 days before departure for coach holidays and river cruises.

However, if the holiday is cancelled, the usual full deposit payment is due, which is £75 for coach holidays, £25 for self-drive holidays and £200 for river cruise holidays.

The offer is available throughout 2023 as well as for 2024 European breaks.

Head of retail sales Ashley Dellow said:  “September and October are traditionally quieter holiday booking periods; everyone is just back from their summer holidays and thinking ahead to Christmas.  

“The £1pp deposit promotion should help agents drum up 2023 bookings.”
