The Scenic Group has bolstered its UK sales team as it prepares to launch two new ships.

Jonathan Davies has been promoted from his Sales Manager role, supporting agents in the north, to National Key Accounts Manager for the same region.

National Key Accounts Manager Wendi Hardy moves across to oversee key accounts in the south region.

William Young, who is currently Sales Manager for Scotland, Northern Ireland and the north-east of England, has been handed the additional responsibility of increasing agent awareness of the group’s touring product.

He has also been tasked with strengthening ties with the trade body Scottish Passenger Agents’ Association.

Emerald Cruises’ Marketing Executive Lewis Quigley will take up the new position of Sales Manager for the north and central regions.

All roles will become effective on 1 April 2023.

Trade Sales Director Andrea Stafford said: “The launches of Scenic Eclipse II and Emerald Sakara will soon be upon us, so it makes sense to ensure our sales team is the strongest in the business.

“Over the last 12 months we have dramatically increased our trade presence. What has become clear is that we needed dedicated sales people to handle the big national accounts.”

On Lewis’ switch, Andrea said: “He comes with fresh ideas, great brand knowledge and I’m sure agents will notice the huge enthusiasm he brings. We can’t wait see what he can deliver.”
