Scenic Group is to run weekly webinar sessions and hold a series of agent lunches between now and the end of the year to get agents ready for the busy peak season.

As a taster, Scenic Group has already uploaded a pre-recorded webinar covering its river cruise product for its Scenic and Emerald Cruises brands on the Mekong.

Then, beginning this Friday, 25 November, weekly webinars will be held, starting with the Rhine, Main and Danube.

Subsequent webinars will cover luxury yachts, Emerald Azzurra’s Caribbean programme, a Wave campaign overview and Christmas Markets.

All sessions will be live at 9.30am, and will also be uploaded onto agent training portals so they can be watched at any time.

Director of Trade Sales Andrea Stafford said: “We’ve made no secret of the fact that Scenic sees huge potential in the travel trade, and we’re keen to spread our message far and wide.

“There is a real thirst for knowledge in the sector.

“Our new webinar series will serve as a great introduction to our brands, offerings and itineraries, as well as providing the essential information retailers need to secure lucrative bookings going forward.”

In a separate initiative, Scenic Group is also running a series of Agents that Lunch events for valued trade partners in towns and cities across the UK during December.
