Sandals Resorts International is to open a new hospitality school in Jamaica to celebrate 40 years of the couples-only brand, Sandals Resorts.

The Gordon ‘Butch’ Stewart International School of Hospitality and Tourism will be located at The University of the West Indies, Montego Bay.

Sandals will also offer a poolside service and new hand-crafted cocktails as part of the 40th anniversary celebrations.

The poolside service will offer a Caribbean-inspired snack and cocktail menu for people who want to stay by the pool for longer.

Bars and restaurants throughout the brand will also offer a new hand-crafted cocktail experience, consisting of eight new curated cocktails using local ingredients.

Sandals Select Rewards guest members and selected long-time Certified Sandals Specialist travel agent partners staying at the resorts will be able to take part in the returning guests’ dinners as part of the 40-years celebrations.

The operator is also launching a series of podcasts, called the Sandals PalmCast, so guests can listen to resort updates, as well as highlighting 40 Sandals Foundation projects in the Caribbean that link tourism with improving  community lives.
