Ryanair expects to report a stronger-than-expected profit of close to €200m for the last three months of 2022.
The airline said strong pent-up demand over the holiday season had boosted peak Christmas and New Year traffic and fares.
Ryanair still expects to make a loss in the last quarter of its financial year, up to the end of March, due to Easter falling late, in April.
However, it said it now expects to make a full year profit after tax of between €1.33bn and €1.43bn, up from its previous guidance of €1bn to €1.2bn.
