Ryanair has confirmed 24 new routes from the UK for next summer, including to the Portuguese island of Madeira, Chania in Crete and the Balearics island of Menorca.
Fares for the new routes, which went on sale today, start at £29.99.
The airline will operate flights to Madeira from both London Stansted and Manchester airports.
Other new routes from summer 2022 include Menorca from Stansted and Newcastle and Catania from London Luton.
Newcastle gets the most new routes, with flights to nine new destinations including Fuerteventura, Ibiza, Gran Canaria and Paphos as well as Menorca.
In total, Ryanair will operate more than 500 routes next summer.
The airline will have 65 new Boeing 737 Max aircraft, which each has 4% more seats and burns 16% less fuel, allowing Ryanair to claim that its summer 2022 schedule will be its ‘most sustainable and environmentally friendly’.
