Ryanair will launch flights from Cork to Manchester, Birmingham and Edinburgh this summer, three of seven new routes from the Irish city.
The budget carrier will offer 120 weekly flights to 25 destinations from Cork, with Alghero (Sardinia), Pisa, Valencia, Venice also new.
A third aircraft will be based at the airport.
The expansion has increased its Cork schedule by 50% compared to pre-COVID levels.
Ryanair Chief Executive Eddie Wilson said: “This is fantastic news for Cork Airport and the wider Southwest region…with great outbound sun destinations to Spain, Portugal, and Italy, but also giving inbound tourism a much-needed boost, restoring vital connectivity and securing jobs in the wider tourism industry.”
