Viewers can get a behind-the-scenes insight into life on board the world’s largest cruise ship when a TV documentary airs at the weekend.

Royal Caribbean International’s Icon of the Seas is the subject of the Channel 4 show, The World’s Biggest Cruise Ship, which will be shown at 8pm on Sunday 18 August.

The programme will follow the ship’s crew and some of the first guests as they explore Icon of the Seas during its inaugural sailings from Miami, Florida earlier this year.

Royal Caribbean EMEA Vice President Gerard Nolan said: “Icon really does change the game when it comes to family holidays and this documentary gives viewers a flavour of what Royal Caribbean has to offer.”
