Riviera Travel has added 300 solo cabins with no single supplement to seven April 2022 European river cruise itineraries.

A total of 38 sailings across a range of cabin grades are on offer, including a five-day Amsterdam, Kinderdijk and the Dutch Bulbfields, from £979pp and an eight-day Douro, Porto and Salamanca cruise, from 1,939pp.

Other options include The Blue Danube from £1,519pp for eight days, taking in Vienna, Salzburg or Linz, Dürnstein, Budapest and Bratislava; an eight-day Burgundy, the River Rhone and Provence from £1,729pp and an eight-day Bruges, Medieval Flanders, Amsterdam and the Dutch Bulbfields cruise, from £1,629pp.

Solo cabins are also available on an eight-day Seine, Paris and Normandy cruise; a Rhine and Moselle cruise; and eight days to Cologne, Koblenz, Bernkastel and Trier.

All cruises include return flights, with regional options; visits and tours plus full-board accommodation.  An optional on-board drinks package is available from £59pp.

The company’s Head of River Cruising Katja Hildebrandt said: “There has been a noticeable increase in guests looking to travel on a single basis since international travel started to open up, with our dedicated solo departures in the early season now fully sold out.

“We’ve received clear feedback from the trade that more guests are hoping to travel as soon as possible, so we’ve added these cabins to the start of our 2022 season across a wide range of itineraries.”
