Princess Cruises has unveiled its 2026 UK and European programme, which includes two ships homeporting in Southampton.

The cruise line said the 2026 Europe programme will be its ‘most extensive ever’, and 20% bigger than what is planned for 2025.

Five ships will be in Europe during the season, running from March to November 2026.

The 3,660-passenger Sky Princess (pictured) will homeport for its sixth consecutive season in Southampton, operating seven to 28 nights to destinations including Northern Europe, the Canary Islands, and the Mediterranean.

New for 2026 is a 28-night ‘Scandinavian & Iberian Adventure’ sailing roundtrip Southampton and calling at Skagen, Copenhagen, Warnemunde (for Berlin), overnight in Stockholm, Helsinki, Tallinn, Visby, Zeebrugge, Southampton, Vigo, Cadiz (for Seville), Malaga, Cartagena, Gibraltar, Lisbon, Bilbao and Le Verdon (for Bordeaux). Fares start from £2,749 per person and the cruise departs on 12 September 2026.

For the first time, the 3,560-passenger Majestic Princess will sail roundtrip from Southampton, offering British Isles and Northern Europe itineraries ranging from 11, 12 and 14 nights.

In addition, 2026 will mark the third consecutive season Sun Princess, the newest ship in the fleet, sails the Mediterranean, from three homeports of Civitavecchia, Piraeus and Barcelona.

Also new for 2026, 3,660-passenger Enchanted Princess will offer roundtrip Mediterranean itineraries from Civitavecchia. The 2,670-passenger Sapphire Princess will spend March and April sailing roundtrip itineraries from Civitavecchia before moving to Copenhagen to operate 12-night Norway, Denmark and Sweden itineraries. This will be the first time in six years that Princess has sailed from Copenhagen.

All five ships will sail transatlantic crossings, with voyages of between 14 and 29 nights.

UK and Europe Vice President Eithne Williamson said: “There is so much to love with our 2026 Europe cruise collection, with 59 unique itineraries to choose from visiting some of the world’s most famous and iconic destinations, and the lowest fares offered at the time of Princess launching a cruise programme.

Sun Princess, the most impressive, luxurious and stunning ship that Princess has ever created, sails the glorious Mediterranean, the number one cruise destination for Brits, for the third consecutive year. Sun Princess debuted in February and guests have been loving our next level Love Boat, which offers an array of exciting entertainment venues, world-class dining and new extraordinary experiences.

Majestic Princess will be homeported in the UK for the first time, alongside Sky Princess, and we’re excited that UK guests can experience these beautiful ships straight from Southampton.

“In addition, we’re certain our UK guests will love the roundtrip Copenhagen and the new roundtrip Civitavecchia itineraries, as they can combine their Princess cruise with a pre- or post-cruise stay in the charming Danish capital or the historic city of Rome.”

The programme goes on general sale on 23 May, although Captain’s Circle Guests can book from 16 May.
