Princess Cruises has unveiled a ‘refreshed’ brand identity across its marketing material.

The line said the new branding focused on the theme of love, inspired by the Love Boat TV series that made it a household name in the 1980s.

Princess added the branding underlines the ‘belief that a cruise allows friends and families to connect and reconnect’.

Princess is also showcasing a new logo which has a greater focus on the Princess sea witch emblem, and a new blue colour tone. The line has released a video titled I Love This Holiday with the branding, available on YouTube.

Eithne Williamson, Princess Cruises’ Vice President, UK and Europe, said: “We believe that when we create effortless holidays for our guests, it allows them to fall in love with travelling.

“There’s so much on offer with Princess, both on board and ashore, no matter what you love, you’ll find it with us.”
