PATA UK & Ireland has added training roadshows in London and Birmingham to its trade event calendar.

Prizes, including a £50 Amazon voucher, a voucher for dinner at Pan Pacific London and three nights’ accommodation at a luxury villa in Thailand, can be won at the events next month.

The events take place at Revolution Bar in Leadenhall, London, on 18 July and Revolucion de Cuba Bar in Birmingham on 19 July.

PATA said the roadshow events will give travel agents the chance to meet hotels, tourist boards and tour operators that operate in the region via a series of speed-training sessions.

Time will also be set aside for contracting discussions. Food and drink will be served throughout the events.

The trade association added: “Both roadshows are aimed at Product Managers and frontline sales staff who want to connect with existing partners as well as learn more about new destinations and products in south-east Asia region.”
